How Does The Skin cleanser Help To Make You Beautiful

It has been said that skin is like a mirror of your body. Almost all men and women like healthy skin, no matter what their age. It is very important to take proper care of the skin. An important part of skin care routine is skin cleansing. Most cleansers comprise oil, water and surfactants. The oil is for ‘liquefying’ the oil on your face, the surfactants for dissolving dirt and makeup, and the water for washing it all away. The right mix of oil is the secret to look for. The aim of proper cleansing is to remove surface dirt and substances that may accumulate and choke the pores of the skin.

To help maintain a healthy, blemish-free complexion, regular skin cleansing is endorsed. A cleansing cream cleans the pores completely, going deep into them; and is an integral part of therapy for treatment for chronic fatigue syndrome, multiple chemical sensitivity, and pesticide and chemical exposure. In openhanded quantity, a cleansing cream should be applied on cheeks, chin, neck and forehead. Twice a day cleansing routine should be followed - in the morning and before going to bed. Damp cotton should be used to remove the cream, as the dry cotton can absorb the required moisture from the skin.

Cleansing milks, cleansing lotions or gels are liquid cleansers, as they have the consistency of body lotions, varying from thin to moderately thick. For healthy skin, you must drink at least 8-to12 glass of water a day. There are also complexion bars, resembling soap, which are actually mild cleansers in bar form. For proper cleansing, cream should be massaged into the skin in ‘upward and outward’ direction, which should be heightened on the creases near the nose, under the chin area, the neck and around the corners of the mouth.

Skin cleansers can help in protecting and nourishing the skin with ingredients such as vitamins, antioxidants, emollients and exfoliants, as gentle and effective cleansers are ‘formula advancements’ suitable for all skin types. Different skin cleansers are used to achieve different results at www.chinesefoodsrecipes.com. However, frequent cleansing, especially with hot water, should better be avoided. In place of soaps, oil-bedded cosmetic cleansers can be safely used.

In addition to a regular cleansing routine, skin supplements are also necessary to help your skin look and feel well. Skin complements are recommended in addition to the use of the right cleansers as they help improve your skin in the short as well as long term. Nothing is more refreshing than cleansing the skin in the morning, as the just-cleansed skin is ideal for a good finish of makeup. People with oily skin can use soaps and other cleansing agents.

In case your skin is dry, cleansing too many times can often do more harm than good. You need to stay away from frequent cleansing, especially with hot water. It is also better for people with dry skin to avoid harsh detergents. Remember, too much cleaning can result in dryness, and can increase the sensitivity of the skin.

Options for Replacing a Missing Tooth

Posted on June 4th, 2008 in General by ms-online-music-services

Options for Replacing a Missing Tooth

When tooth is lost the individual faces many choices. The first choice is should I replace the missing tooth? The second is what is the best way to replace it? In making these decisions there are many factors to consider and research data to be evaluated. There are three basic ways to replace missing teeth. These include:

1) Removable partial dentures
2) Tooth supported bridges and
3) Implant supported teeth.

Removable partial dentures have metal clasps that clip onto teeth to hold the device in the mouth. Patients need to take these in and out for cleaning after eating.
Tooth supported bridges rely on the adjacent teeth for support. The teeth next to the missing tooth space are ground down and the bridge is cemented onto them. This bridge does not come in and out and relies on the integrity of the adjacent teeth for support.

Dental implants. The final method of tooth replacement is the dental implant, which is a replacement for the root of a tooth. The implant is placed where the root of the missing tooth used to be. The replacement root is then used to attach a replacement tooth.

Should I Replace a Missing Tooth?

There are a number of studies reporting on survival of teeth next to missing tooth spaces. These studies look at the survival of the teeth next to the missing tooth space in cases where the missing tooth is replaced and the missing tooth is not replaced. Studies show that there is a significant loss of adjacent teeth if the missing tooth is not replaced. Tooth replacements with fixed bridges attached to teeth improves the survival of the teeth compared to no replacement.

When removable partial dentures are used to replace missing teeth, the failure of the adjacent teeth is much higher than if there was no replacement, or if the replacement was with a tooth supported bridge. Patients who do not replace missing teeth may experience shifting of teeth, spaces opening between teeth (resulting in food impaction), collapse of the bite, alterations in their chewing ability, TMJ pain, and trauma to the remaining teeth. People sometimes don’t replace teeth that are “in the back” of the mouth because no one sees them. The back teeth are needed to support the bite and grind up food. We can all swallow food that is not chewed thoroughly, but this compromises the nutrition we extract from our diet. When enough back teeth are lost the front teeth can start to flare or become “buck teeth” as they carry forces in excess of what they were designed for.

Let’s look at some of the data from scientific studies that look at replacing missing teeth.

VA Medical Center Longitudinal Study Shugars JADA 1998
19% of adjacent teeth failed if the space was untreated
10% failed if the space was treated with a tooth supported bridge
30% failed if the space was treated with a removable partial denture
Permanente Dental Associates looked at 317 patients who wore tooth supported fixed bridges for an average of 6.7 years and removable partial dentures for an average of 4.2 years. Their findings:
13% of adjacent teeth failed if the space was untreated
7% failed if treated with a tooth supported bridge
17% failed if treated with a removable partial denture
Truman Medical Center, 8.6 years tooth supported bridge and 7 years observation for removable partial dentures
12% of adjacent teeth failed if untreated
7% failed if treated with a tooth supported bridge
22% failed if treated with a removable partial denture
In conclusion, we can see the following:
• There is significant loss of adjacent teeth (ranging from 12%-19%) if the missing tooth is not replaced.
• Tooth supported bridges improve the survival rate, with abutment tooth loss from 7%-10% at 6.7 and 8.6 years.
• Removable partial dentures increase abutment tooth failure rate ranging from 17% to 30% at 4.2 to 7 years.
• There is no significant difference in the statistics of the various studies.

Food for Thought in Chicago

You can be sure of one thing whenever you decide to go on holiday to America – you will be treated to some of the best restaurants and cafes in the world, serving all kinds of different delights and making your trip a very satisfying one.

One of the best cities to visit is undoubtedly Chicago, as you’ll have your pick of the sights to see and enjoy, as well as stopping off somewhere different each day for a bite to eat to fill you up.

It doesn’t matter where you are or what you are doing, there is a good chance that whatever you fancy having to eat, there will be a venue nearby that will serve exactly what you’re after. Chicago is well known for its heady mix of tastes and styles, so whether you want a real American burger with fries or a stylish meal for two at an upmarket restaurant, you will always find something to match your palate.

Sometimes it’s not just the food that takes your breath away, it’s the location too. A great example of high rise dining in Chicago comes when you pay the Everest restaurant a visit. You’ll soon see why it gets its name – it is forty floors up in the same building that houses the Chicago Stock Exchange. An exquisite French menu which offers cold poached lobster among its many delights will be hard to resist.

There are also plenty of grills dotted around the city, including the Park Grill in Millennium Park and the Wildfire restaurant on West Erie Street, both of which will easily tempt you back for a second visit.

One of the best things about eating out in Chicago is that there are just as many options for those who like plain and simple food cooked and presented with care and attention, as there are for those who will try virtually anything. What’s more, you are never far from a new restaurant or location that has a range of new delights on its menu. Some eateries change their menu quite often, while still retaining the top favourites for everyone to enjoy all year round.

You might also like to consider booking yourself onto a walking tour of the city. Some of these last for a couple of hours and work up an appetite before leaving you free to grab something tasty for lunch once you’ve finished, while others are all day affairs and combine a visit to a restaurant or café halfway through. It is well worth looking them up when you arrive and pre-booking if necessary.

Wherever you choose to stay, many of the hotels in Chicago also have spectacular restaurants to eat in after a day out exploring the city, so you’ll certainly be spoilt for choice whatever time of the year you visit.

A Pizza Lovers Dream Making Pizza Crust

A Pizza Lovers Dream -Making Pizza Crust

From time to time the one thing that home pizza makers want to accomplish when baking pizza is a nice crispy, crunchy pizza crust.

It’s quite difficult for a pizza lover to resist the crispy texture of flavorful pizza crust layered with a blend of savory toppings.

A common question asked by newbies and veteran home pizza makers alike, is simply this, “How can I make my pizza crust crispy”? Today is your lucky day because I’m going to give you a couple of ways to achieve crispier pizza crust.

One of the most important aspects of making good pizza at home relates to oven temperatures. Oven temperatures vary when using typical home ovens. Though some home pizza makers have access to brick ovens or more elaborate forms of home ovens, many pizza lovers do not. These types of ovens are fantastic for pizza baking but the typical conventional oven found in most home kitchens require a slightly different approach.

Generally, typical conventional ovens do not compare, in terms of temperature generation with commercial ovens found in professional pizza parlors. Don’t worry pizza lovers, there’s still hope for home pizza makers.

Due to the “temperature factor”, there are a number of things you must consider when preparing your pizza dough and baking your pizza pies at home, especially if you want a pie that’s delightfully crispy, crunchy and irresistible.

The first consideration is water content when mixing the pizza dough. If you use olive oil as a fundamental ingredient for your pizza dough, consider using slightly less olive oil and replace this with a little more warm water. Adding a little more water to your mix of pizza

dough will contribute to a crispier and flaky crust.

In addition, it’s a good idea to roll your dough to a “paper thin” thickness. You can do this by “rolling out” your pizza dough directly onto the pizza peel. Of course before doing this, sprinkle cornmeal on the pizza peel to insure an easy transfer to the baking surface you plan to use.

Next, you’ll want to use one of two techniques for baking your pizza to make sure your completed pizza boasts that delicious crispy pizza crust that we all crave. You’ll want to choose a suitable “baking platform” or “baking surface”.

Try one of the two techniques below for baking your pizza pies:

1- Use a “pizza stone”

or

2 - Use a “pizza screen”

If you decide to use a pizza stone, make sure you give the stone plenty of time to heat before transferring the pizza from the pizza peel to the stone. You’ll want to follow the instructions provided with the pizza stone very accurately.

The transfer from pizza peel to pizza stone will be much easier if you lightly cover your pizza peel with cornmeal. This makes the transfer process from pizza peel to pizza stone a breeze.

When using a pizza stone, the goal is to have the ingredients of the pizza complete the cooking process about the same time the crust “completely” browns. Depending on your specific oven, temperatures, 425 to 450 should suffice. Of course you’ll have to experiment with
cooking times for your specific oven.

Be careful not to remove the pizza to early, as this is a common mistake. Allow plenty of time for the crust to brown, without burning the cheese. If need be, CAREFULLY take a peak underneath the pie to check your crust if you like. Remember, ovens are extremely hot!

The second way to achieve a nice crispy crust is to use a pizza screen. Though this can be a bit messy, this baking platform produces wonderful crispy pizza crust. The porous nature of a pizza screen allows heat to pass through the screen directly to the bottom of the pizza.

This helps with the moisture absorption process. Direct heat helps reduce the moisture content within the pizza dough and adds to the crispy nature and texture of pizza crust. Mmmm…I’m getting hungry just thinking about it…

Pizza screens are fairly cheap, and that’s great because they get a bit “clogged” with toasted cheese and ingredients after several uses. Clean them thoroughly after each use to extend the life of your screen. Besides, you’ll forget about the mess when you slide that first slice of crispy pizza into your mouth, I promise.

Try these techniques to improve your pizza making adventures and remember to save me a slice!

Whiskey and Cigars the pair perfect

Posted on June 4th, 2008 in General by ms-online-music-services

Whiskey and Cigars - the pair perfect!

A weather-beaten Eastwood with chiseled jaws readying his gun at the first knock of door, letting in the nasty old crook to his most coveted province! After the fight that followed which did not even need a shot, Eastwood would walk in slow motion, grab a drink and bite off his cigar’s end, ready to light up, still surveying the crook for life – a classical “Western” moment and some part of it livable in real life!

Let’s face it this time – what could be a better way to wind up the delightful day than relax and set ablaze each sip of our favorite drink (single malt scotch is what I like) with a heavenly cigar! Cigars and whiskey are seriously two of the finest things in life and when working in a group, the two can invoke the most enchanting of experiences. It works for me and I see no reason why it would not for you or anyone else!

It has taken some hundreds of judges, several brain storming (rather “tongue storming”) events and tasting sessions (mostly) in Cuba and Scotland to actually cherish the experience. The partnership between the asserters of two of the finest relaxants on the planet, that is, cigars and whiskey, has avowed this delicate combination as one of the finest, that human civilization could ever conceive. My last visit to Paris for celebrating the anniversary of a world renowned lighter brand provided me with yet another reason to glorify the cause, where I had the opportunity to cherish this paradisiacal combination of Havana and Scotland - cigars and single malt. Ever since, I am easily disposed to battle whoever opposes the heavenly combination of cigars with whiskey, reasoning as wastage of taste.

Refinement on earth for me, of course, is now defined by single malt whiskey, illuminated by the glow of the best rolls. Cultivating on my recently refined tastes owing to the newly developed liking (which, in no time, turned into an obsession); I started pairing these two manifestations of refinement in various combinations conceivable. And to the utter dismay of my contesters, I would be glad to gloat that a variety of cigars complement a variety of whiskeys. However, my favorite amongst all remains no more than mild single malt lighted with a medium/full-bodied cigar (preferably, Cuban).

A lighted Cohiba Siglo IV and a glass of Highland Park Single Malt Scotch make a stunning pair and these are the names that reflexively pop out of my mouth when asked to brand my love for the delicate ecstasy. A Partagas D 4 also does go really well with a Lagavulin Single Malt. However, (high time I stopped being nepotistic) there are certain cigars that just do not go with whiskeys – scotch or not..! I do not need to name any because once one cultivates a taste for it, it is quite easy to decipher an odd pair!
