Consider Doing a Drivers License Check
Consider Doing a Drivers License Check
It’s a privilege; not a right! Yeah, yeah, we’ve all heard the diatribe regarding the driver’s license. First we got it from our parents, then it came from our teacher in driver’s ed, and finally the lady at the DMV. For a while there I thought it would never end. But, now that I’m older and have been driving on my own for 15 years, I can certainly see what all the fuss was about.
When it comes down to it, driving is dangerous. There are no two sides to the coin. You basically get into a metal box with wheels and take off into a mess of others just like you. Now that you’re all flying down the highway at 60 miles per hour, you’d better be certain you don’t wreck. That could mean the end of your life. It really is that simple. We just don’t dwell on the fact. If we did, we’d all be terrified to get into a vehicle. So, although the driver’s license is a privilege, we all tend to take it for granted at times. We get tickets, we run traffic lights, and we coast through stop signs. Everyone is guilty of some traffic violation. Now, do you know for sure what’s on your record? If not, then you may consider doing a drivers license check on the web.
I despise the DMV or BMV, which ever it’s called in your area. The employees are so disgruntled there. I guess I can see why, but dang. Find a new job, people. Anyway, at least I can handle some of these issues online now days. It takes no time at all to do a drivers license check. Now I’m not talking about the ones where the cop is stopping everyone on the road, all in a single file line, in order to check everyone’s driver’s license. I’ve been through plenty of these in my day. They always take forever. It’s hilarious when someone tries to turn around and flee the scene. Then a patrol car goes darting after them, lights blaring, sirens flashing. Anyway, I was referring to the simple drivers license check you can do from home. This will let you know what’s on your record, regarding points, violations and such.
When was the last time you received a traffic violation? I was lucky enough to avoid the last two times I was pulled over. Now when I do a drivers license check, I am clear as a bell. That’s just the way I like it. After all none of us want points on our license.
